It is an infectious disease caused by newly discovered coronavirus which is said to be sourced from a wet market in Wuhan that sell mostly many animal’s flesh. However, there is no official report on how this virus spread. There is no vaccine or cure for COVID-19 yet, but there are many ongoing clinical trials evaluating potential treatments. There are total 693224* confirmed cases and 33106* deaths all around the globe. It has been around 6 months of this disease, yet its effect is spreading continuously.

Coronavirus can spread primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose. These symptoms may be mild or severe.

The more you share things with outside people, the more chances of you getting the coronavirus will increase. Reduce your sharing and even if you do, don’t forget to sanitize your hands after that.

As per the sources, 1 person can transmit the virus to at least 2 to 5 people and then those 5 people can transmit it to least 200 people in no days. Therefore, isolating yourself comes to the rescue.

Avoid crowding


There is a lot of risk in exposing yourself where crowd or gathering of over 10 people are there. The human transmission can take place fast that 1 infected person can make others infected.

Doing good hygiene


Using a tissue or handkerchief would be best for sneezing or coughing. Try sneezing near your elbows, you could never touch your face with an elbow. Wearing a mask, washing hands or sanitizing them is another example of good hygiene.

Hand dryers are not effective in killing coronavirus. It can only dry off the water from your hands. To protect your hands, you must wash them with soap or use alcohol based sanitizer.

Ultraviolet lights should not be used for sterilizing hands or anywhere on your skin as it may cause skin irritation.

  • Thermal scanners can detect people with coronavirus.

Thermal scanners can detect people with fever (of high temperature) only, but it cannot detect whether or not someone has the coronavirus.

  • Taking a hot bath does not prevent the coronavirus.

Taking a hot bath will not prevent you from catching Covid-19 in fact, it can be harmful as it can burn you.


With this covid-19 outbreak, our hygiene has become our priority. Not externally, but internally as well. Eating the right food will benefit you in maintaining your hygiene n all.

Also, don’t panic purchase, the Government will maintain the food supply and other necessary supply of items.
